This image was taken at Dogtown, Massachusetts. Dogtown was first settled in 1693, and according to legend the name of the settlement came from dogs that women kept while their husbands were fighting in the American Revolution. Taken as part of the Mythophelia project found in Stories, this image was shot on 35mm roll film, which was then scanned digitally.
