Specialising in documentary art, I aim to reveal the stories beneath the social and environmental issues affecting us all in our shared world. I have always been values driven and have a background in psychology, as well as holding an MA Distinction in Photojournalism. It was seeing an exhibition on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals that first sparked my love affair with photography and the power it can hold. I’ve since worked on projects both in the UK and internationally and have been so proud to see my work driving change. I use both film and digital, in both 35mm and medium format, and love trying out more exploratory approaches, particularly combining written story-telling and primary sources. As a writer of middle-grade fiction and a museum educator, my photography thrives on the knowledge that good photojournalism works best through collaboration and meeting other disciplines at its edges. I hope you enjoy what you see here today.
